This dense shrub features stiff branches arching to form a thick and full mound. Glossy, dark green, oval leaves are 3/4" in length. Small pink flowers bloom in late spring and early summer. The Cranberry Cotoneaster will produce 1/4" round, ornamental, red berries that mature in late summer, and persist into early winter. Autumn colors range from yellow and orange to red and purple. This shrub is used in foundation plantings, shrub borders, for ground cover or planted to cascade over a wall. Often used as an effective means of erosion control.
