Hydrangea - Oakleaf hydrangea Gatsby Pink®

Hydrangea quercifolia x Oakleaf hydrangea 'Gatsby Pink®'

Gatsby Pink is an oakleaf hydrangea with glorious blooms throughout the season. Flowers are pure white, prior to the transformation to deep pink.  Color is retained all season long. Because it blooms on old wood, judiciously prune selectively if needed. Foliage is dark green and puts on an exquisite mahogany-red show in fall. Rather shade tolerant, however you'll find the color is best with daily sun. Perfect for informal borders or woodland gardens. Brilliant cut flowers, or dried for year-long arrangements. Attracts pollinators. Salt tolerant.

Our plants come with extra large and fibrous root systems, ready to plant and flourish!

The Oak leaf hydrangea will be 6-8' at mature height and width. It is considered a shrub not a tree.

Best in moist, well-drained soil. May need winter protection in the North.
