Anna's Magic Ball® arborvitae is a dwarf evergreen sphere that needs no pruning. Its beautiful yellow foliage adds cheerful year-round color to the landscape. Developed in Canada, this little plant isn't bothered by winter weather and holds its color all year-round. This nifty little native evergreen needs no pruning to keep its tight, rounded shape. Anna's Magic Ball® makes a nice addition to perennial beds, mixed borders, rock gardens, troughs and containers. It's petite size and well-behaved manner makes it an especially nice choice for smaller yards, gardens or just about any landscape project.

Adaptable in terms of pH.  Best growth is in moderately moist, cool, fertile soils.

Does not require pruning, but tolerates if well.  Prune in spring before new growth begins, if desired.   Keep watered after pruning to minimize browning.  This is also an effective strategy to minimize winter damage to foliage in cold areas.

Tolerates heat and drought once established.
