Elderberry - Lemony Lace®

Sambucus racemosa x 'Lemony Lace®' 'SMNSRD4'

'Lemony Lace®' Elderberry features brilliant golden, finely dissected foliage to light up your landscape. In early spring, this North American native produces large clusters of white flowers before the bright yellow leaves emerge. Leaves are edged in red, but as the foliage ages, it turns to an enticing chartreuse. Wildlife will enjoy the red berries in autumn. Though it is a large plant, 'Lemony Lace®'  Elderberry can be pruned to stay smaller. This stunning shrub requires very little to no maintenance and is deer resistant. This Elderberry will perform as an outstanding specimen plant in any landscape or mixed border.
