    Ilex x meserveae 'Heckenstar'

    The Castle™ series brings compact, pyramidal forms to the world of blue holly. Their dark glossy leaves, superior vigor and branching make them an improvement over other older varieties. Narrow form is great for hedges, foundation plantings, or a dramatic specimen. The lustrous green foliage provides season long interest. Though it is handsome enough to be used on its own, Castle Wall® is a male pollinator for Castle Spire holly.

    PLEASE NOTE: To produce berries, you'll need the female, Castle Spire®.  Castle Wall® does not produce berries.

    Ilex x meserveae 'Hachfee'

    The Castle series brings compact, pyramidal forms to the world of blue holly. Their dark glossy leaves, superior vigor and branching make them an improvement over other older varieties.     Ilex verticillata 'Spravy'

    Berry Heavy® is a deciduous holly which produces a very heavy, bright red berry crop. The spectacular fall and winter show is sure to brighten the short days of the season. Winterberry holly is a dioecious shrub, which means that each plant produces either male or female flowers. Berry Heavy® is a female plant which requires the male pollinator, Mr. Poppins®. One male plant will pollinate up to five females. Plant Berry Heavy® within about 50' of Mr. Poppins® to ensure pollination and good fruit set. Keep in mind, the male plant does not produce berries. Fruit is not edible. Suitable in mass plantings, hedges, cutting gardens, wildlife gardens and natural areas. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant.

    Ilex verticillata 'FARROWBPOP' x 'Berry Poppins®'

    Winterberry holly is a marvelous shrub for winter landscapes. 'Berry Poppins®' Winterberry Holly, with its dwarf habit can be planted nearly anywhere. This native to North America is a deciduous holly.  Although it loses its leaves every autumn, a heavy berry display is a truly brilliant display in the winter landscape.  Birds will be attracted to 'Berry Poppins®' although deer will avoid it!  A male pollinator is required in order to set fruit; use Mr. Poppins®winterberry holly.  An excellent addition to your landscape, you'll enjoy the cut stems, too!

    Ilex verticillata 'FARROWMRP' x 'Mr. Poppins®'

    Winterberry - 'Mr. Poppins®', is a male winterberry pollinator for 'Berry Poppins®'. One male plant will pollinate 5-7 female plants when planted within 50' of one another. Pruning at any time of year will impact the number of flowers and the quantity of fruit set, therefore pruning winterberry hollies should be avoided.  Very old branches can be removed in early spring if they are no longer producing vigorous growth.  This native to North America is deer resistant.  Winterberry - 'Mr. Poppins®' does not produce berries, but is an essential pollinator for 'Berry Poppins® '.
