Raspberry - Heritage

Rubus idaeus 'Heritage'

The Heritage Red Raspberry is an everbearing variety, producing a moderate crop in July and a heavy crop in August until frost arrives. This popular self-pollinating variety has large dark red berries. The firm berries are excellent for eating out of hand, making jams & jellies and can be both frozen or canned. Canes on the Heritage are strong and do not require any staking or support. This raspberry plant will grow in a variety of soil types, but prefers fertile soil. Amending your soil with organic material is recommended for lower nutrient areas. Be sure to plant in a well drained but moist location, or provide 1-2" of water to the root zone weekly for best growing results.

Our plants come with extra large and fibrous root systems, ready to plant and flourish!
