Rose of Sharon - 'Purple Pillar'®

Hibiscus syriacus 'Gandini Santiago'

Entirely unique, Purple Pillar® Rose of Sharon is the first columnar hibiscus. Pollinators are attracted to the semi-double flowers of purple and red which appear throughout summer and fall. This is the shrub you will adore for its beauty and narrow fastigiate habit. We’re sure you can find a spot in which to showcase this plant! Suitable for hedges, screens, entry ways, formal gardens, foundation plantings, as a specimen, or in containers. Purple Pillar® delivers great rewards with low-maintenance. Plant in a sunny area with well-drained soil. Pruning isn’t necessary, but you may trim or shape as you like in late winter or early spring. Annual application of fertilizer for flowering shrubs is recommended. Deer resistant, salt tolerant, heat and drought tolerant, too!

Our plants come with extra large and fibrous root systems, ready to plant and flourish!
